TOPIC: Date field (required) blank when editing records

Greetings! I'm having a problem with editing records - a date field in each record turns blank when opening the record to edit. It was fine before upgrade.

Joomla 3.7.2, DTRegister 3.2.1.

Joomla configuration has Editor set to NONE. Was using JCEditor.

Help! We're wrapping up an event today and need to post check payments so people get an accurate balance when we send out their reminders.

Is it a date field or the birthdate field that has the separate month/day/year selection?

It's set up as a Date field (though the name of the field is birthdate).

Same thing happening on another Date field where we post the date their recommendation letter was received.

I think I found a clue. It might be in the configuration of the date format - another record I edited had a date of 10-5-2017 which is in the future. Argh. Wonder if the configuration defaulted or I hit a wrong button somewhere. I can see where it would blow out a date 14-2-2001 if it was looking for 2-14-2001. Think that might be it?

That could potentially be it, yes. If you have some records showing it and others not, then it isn't a bug. Besides, no one else has reported this either. You may have a situation where the format was changed so only records since that change display properly. If that's the case, you're going to have to manually fix some records, which I'd do after first fixing the date format if it's not what you want it to be.
