No access to control panel via any link. Joomla 3.6.5

Hello. We can not replicate any such issue nor has anyone else reported it. I'd suggest opening your menu item and re-setting the details / parameters and re-saving. If that doesn't cut it, then you'll need to submit a ticket with admin access.

How do you reset or change admin menus items in Joomla 3.6.5?

The same way as when you created it.

Go to that menu item and open it to edit. Go to change the type and just re-select DT Register -> Control Panel. Make sure everything else is set as needed and just save it.

Sorry, these links are your control panel buttons withing the Component itself. Nothing we created. Even the main components-->dtregister link fails.

Sorry I thought you were talking about the frontend DT Register Control Panel which is a menu option. Go ahead and submit a ticket so we can see this on your site. We've seen that on one other site so far. Good news is that you don't NEED the control panel page. You can go to Components -> DT Register -> ANYTHING ELSE and it'll be fine. There's nothing specifically on the control panel that you can't get elsewhere. It's an issue with the occasional site to parse the RSS feed for our news that shows in the control panel.
