No records saved when users are registering? Front-end and Back-end?

Using latest version 3.1.13 and cache plugin enabled. This is not good!

Well this is definitely something unique to your site... and it's very vague, so there's little I can do but throw out guesses as we need more to go on than basically saying "it's broken". So... I'd ask what version of Joomla you're running? What changes have you made to your site/server recently prior to records starting to fail to be created? What happens when you try to register? Any errors? Just digging for any helpful details. :)

Brand new Joomla installation 3.6.5 and running PHP 5.5.33.

New DT Register installation, so this is right at the start with no other history on this site. Using SIM payment method.

Disabled URL Rewriting and that may have solved it. Will advise.

Seems fine now, so that was the issue.

Greetings...

I have a quite similar issue. Records are not being kept. Currently running DT Register 3.1.13, Joomla! 3.6.5, and the default Joomla! template Protostar with customizations.

Purchases for events have been purchased for months as I see paypal payments made for events, but we needed to download the records recently and there have been no registrations (group nor individual) records retained in the J! or DTReg. database tables.

No records being kept in Joomla!, nor DT Register. Ouch.

I tried turning off URL rewriting, but it broke links. Maybe there is a switch I am missing when I read? Is there some switch that makes record data be retained, or not retained?

Paypal retains some info, but not the full registration info on each form when event registrations are purchased.

We will appreciate advice.

Best...

J

jsrunder - first, the URL rewriting has never been found to be an issue with DT Register, ever, that I can recall. If that ended up being the issue with jstratos, he'd be the first. :)

Second, try using the "Pay Later" payment option for a registration and see if that creates a DT Register record. If it does, you'll know the issue is tied to PayPal.

Third, a Joomla user is only created if you have that functionality enabled for the event. If you want this, make sure it is set to "required". Sometimes people have this as optional, then wonder why some records have a Joomla user and some do not.

Fourth, a Joomla user will only be created if "Allow User Registration" is set to YES in the Joomla user manager options.

Check all of those items and go from there.
