I purchased DT Register after speaking with Pre-Sales and was told what I wanted it could do, however I am not able to figure it out.
This is what I want to appear in an email as well as the confirmation page

Rendering Error in layout Attachment/Item: Property "protected" is not defined. Please enable debug mode for more information.

This is what does appear

When I am editing the email/thank you section I put the HTML code in using absolute image path. I have tried both to use image as table background as well as page background image. I have tried it using HTML Style and not. In the admin area it looks great under preview (shows no image using JCE text editor) However when I go through the registration process I get all the text I could ever want, but no images at all. When I look at source file I see nothing there at all.

Has anyone made this work? Has anyone ever tried to do anything like this? So far I have used 2 different components that both said they could, only to find out I couldn't get it to work. :(

I have been using DT Register for quite some time and I see no reason why you couldn't do this. Although I wouldn't do it as a background pic... I would do the center as an image and the sides with tables. You would have to do a custom field for age.... but see no reason why you cant. Remember images either need to be embedded or called from the server with full http URL to the image for them to appear in the email

I tried it both ways and neither would work inside Outlook. I was able to see the image inside of a gmail email address, but same email in a yahoo and outlook did not work. I do however get other emails with images embedded (advertising, newsletters, etc..)
The option to have it embed into a PDF would be great, but that isn't an option. All of my images you absolute url with a full path so I am not sure why it doesn't work.

Outlook is a complete pain in the butt for HTML emails. There are MANY things that it strips out... like padding, floats, etc. What you are fighting with is not a DT Register issue, but simply an HTML vs Outlook issue. You are using the WYSIWYG editor to build that email, and whatever you build is what DT Register uses. There's usually multiple ways in HTML to accomplish the same task, so between others' advice and Google, you should be able to sort things out.

Here's a couple other links that may prove helpful:

That showed up on the website (still didn't print the images and background is turned on) but the email is also showing the image. Just have to look and tweak it so the space isn't there.

What would you charge to help teach/show me how to do this? The email is the most important part in all honesty as I can resend that and they have a copy of it.
I have to do upwards of 25 total events and each will have their own ticket image, however the data needed will be close to the same.
