hi!

Event set to Public
Joomla User Auto-Creation set to YES(Optional)
AND in the front-end nothing is beeing entered into the Username and Password fields, BUT all the Other fields are filled - > you just get kicked out to the event list...

should it not be:
if Event is Public and User Auto-Creation set to YES(optional) Then create a record but not the joomla user?

That should not be happening. What version of DT Register and Joomla are you using?

I have reinstalled DTR and it seems to be working fine now

YIKES! 3.1.7 is extremely old and should NOT be used with Joomla 3.6.2. If you ever have an issue and are using an old release, you should update as a first step before even contacting support. We'll make sure you are updated anyway as we don't support old builds.
