In addition the this we are seeing multiple charges to registrant credit cards. Now this could be they are hitting refresh when the get the 404 page or have a slow internet connection.
Could be a sign of a new feature: A pop up window that says "Be patient while we process your registration!" This way they don't hit refresh until transaction has been completed.
NOTE: We are running 3.1.11a and having the issues.
We upgraded to DT Register 3.1.11a in the hopes that this would be solved, but it isn't. Payments come through but no record is logged. My client is extremely frustrated at this point because she's been struggling with the issue through several patch updates of DT Register. It's causing a big inconvenience for her and for her customers. I'm continuing an open support ticket on her behalf.
We are still seeing errors with 3.1.11 (the latest patch).
I've gotten more information now. There are two types of errors we're seeing.
One error is that registrations are coming through with mostly blank information. The one they sent me to look at came through only with the user's email address and PayPal payment info.
One error is that registrations are not recording at all, and all you see is a PayPal receipt.
They are in the middle of their conference registration, and have experienced both issues this morning, after we updated to 3.1.11.
Thanks Mike, lets hope we can get some feedback from Nathan soon. We are in the middle of registration as well and having to field issues. At least you get some data from registrant within Paypal. We get payments from people, multiple times and have no way to contact them.
