TOPIC: Unable to add a location from the front end.

Hello,

I am unable to add a location from the front end. I am able to do it from the back end, but I do not give my users access to that area. Please advise.

1) make sure you have the latest DT Register version in place.
2) Make sure permissions are set correctly in DT Register -> Permissions. if "Edit Own Items Only" is checked for your user group that you are wanting to do this frontend work, they won't be able to edit a location unless they are the named owner of the location.
3) Make sure your users are assigned to only the one needed user group. Other assignments can cause issues. If changes are made to user group assignments, a logout and login again will be required for changes to take effect... unless you have our ACL Fix plugin installed.

If you can't figure this out though with the steps above, you'll need to submit a ticket with details and appropriate logins so we can test it out.
