I have the latest DT Reg and Jevents installed. When I use jevents sync and pull in the event into DT Register, the date is fine but the time if off by 4 hours. I have the time zone settings for all 3 (joomla, DT Reg, and Jevents) set to Detroit.

Thanks

Any update on this. I have played around with all time zones for DT, Joomla and Jevents and still my DT events when using Jevent Sync are off by 4 hours.

Time zone settings in DT Register are for display only. We go off of what is set in Joomla's configuration. What version of DT Register are you running? And what version of our JEvents Sync plugin?

For what it's worth, a client of mine reported the exact same problem, except that the event time in DT Register showed 2 hours later instead of 4 hours (as noted by the OP). All time settings in Joomla Global Config, JEvents, DT Register and even the event itself was set to the same time zone.

Fiddling with settings here and there, in the event in DT Register, I toggled the time-format option from 12-hour to 24-hour and back to 12-hour, and, voilĂ , DT Register showed the correct time. Have no idea....

Joomla v3.6.2; DT Register v3.1.0; JEvents Update v3.2; JEvents Component v3.4.18.

I've had this same problem. If JEvents is created or saved on the frontend, the time is off. However, if the JEvents calendar is created or saved on the backend, the time is correct. (meaning the DTRegister time and JEvents times are the same in a syncd DTRegister event).

If an incorrect time is noted in DTRegister, we can open and save the JEvents item in the backend and all is well.

Have fiddled with it a lot and decided to do the JEvents calendar from the backend. Not the best, but it works.
