Make sure From Name and From Email are set in BOTH the Joomla configuration and DT Register configuration. Depending on your mail server setup, you may need to use SMTP mail or sendmail... and you may need to verify any specific settings with your host.

Are you saying the user doesn't get their confirmation email? Or just the admin doesn't get his? Do emails send to addresses on a different domain than your website? Test that... and also test the core Joomla Contacts component. If you can't sort it out, create a ticket with admin access and we'll take a peek.

I've installed latest version (c), however I sill can't receive admin emails and customer doesn't receive confirmation emails.

I've run tests in Joomla global configuration using PHP Mail, Send Mail and SMPT - all mail options successfully send "Test" emails from global configuration, however when submitting events in DT Register NO emails are sent.

I've used same email domain as website domain and various combinations of other emails to no avail.

Previously I could setup "from" email to as any email and "admin" email as any email and it would successfully send along with (of course) the customer confirmation emails.

Both admin and thank you email don't get triggered. Checked joomla config from name, server name and DT Register email configs - They are set as you recommended. It was working till Tuesday evening with PHP mail but now for some reason it doesn't work with both PHP / sendmail. See enclosed file with screenshots of error message, configurations.

We have setup a whole new installation on a new domain using an email of the same domain.

In Joomla Global configuration we've sent "test" emails using PHP mail, Send Mail and SMTP successfully, however not matter what combination of email addresses we use to "admin" or to customer, emails are NOT being generated. We have joomla. 3.5.1 and latest version of DT Register installed.

Are you saying we still have a Joomla configuration issue?

Previously we could send "from" any emails address of our choice (including emails that were NOT that same domain as our website - this is a very handy feature).

I have similar issue (Joomla 3.5.1, DT Register 3.1.7c). The admins and users stopped receiving notification emails. 37 registrants; first 3 received notifications; the rest of them - received nothing. The registration records were entered into the database correctly.

Sorry everyone, but we still are not seeing a DT Register bug here. One by one, people with this issue, we are finding setup issues causing the problems. Yes, Joomla 3.5 brought changes in email handling. We've implemented the changes we needed as a result. It works. If it doesn't on your site, you need to make some adjustments. Just because your mail configuration previously worked does NOT mean it will continue to work after the changes brought in Joomla 3.5

pcseba - addressed in a ticket. DT Register works fine. Issues were setup problems in DT Register.

toolbox - addressed in a ticket. We've done much testing for this client and found that we DO receive emails from DT Register, although which much delay... although we see the same delay when testing the core Joomla contacts component. DT Register works for this user, but they have some mail server attention needed still most likely.

ksgcomm - addressed in a ticket. They were using the initial 3.1.7 release... NOT the 3.1.7c update that includes all of the necessary fixes.
