TOPIC: Tax calculation

Hi,

Using latest version of DT register on Joomla 3.4

We have events that are essentially complete build up from fee fields. The actually event is set to zero. When testing our customer mentioned, 5% tax calculation is not working.

I did a little test and made the event itself $100 and used a $550 fee option. Making a total of $650 before taxes.

This what is shown on the confirmation page:

Registration Fee: 1 x 100.00 CAD
Registration Type: 550.00 CAD
Tax: 5.00 CAD

Clearly taxes are only calculated on the Event price not on extra fee fields. Reading on the forum DT Register is supposed to calculate taxes on the total, but it does not in our case.

Any solutions?

All fee calculations are controlled by you. In the admin listing of events, you'll see a "Fee Ordering" link for each event. Click that to get a window showing all fee / discount items for the event. You can drag-n-drop them to the order you desire. As everyone has their own need of how taxes and everything else is calculated, you can set it!

This of course only matters when you have % calculations. So drag the tax item to the bottom to make sure it is applied after all other fees.
