Does anyone have experience using DTR and
Virtual Domains
?
We're trying to use one Joomla install and change template styles and content display depending on URL corresponding to three different market segments.
www.conditionred.us
www.emsacademi.com
www.cprny.training
As you can see, each URL switches course content and event listings on-the-fly.
The problem is that when using VirtualDomains, it causes a PayPal error:
Please check your server that handles PayPal Instant Payment Notification (IPN) messages. Messages sent to the following URL(s) are not being received:
www.conditionred.us/components/com_dtreg...23&task=notification
Obviously, this causes not only a loss of registration records but also prevents Joomla Users from being created.
The other problem is when someone tries to log in using any of the domains that are NOT the main domain (ems or cpr), it causes a security warning in the browser. I'm going to guess that's easier to fix in the form of needing a wildcard SSL and configuring subdomains, but if anyone here has some words of wisdom, I'd be grateful for the help.
