Hi

I'm rebuilding our site from scratch on Joomla 3 rather than migrating from 2.5. It seems easier that way. Our site is fairly small and it's a chance to clear out bugs etc.

So I've just installed a fresh new DT Register on a fresh new Joomla 3. Basic test looks like it works. Hooray.

Now, I'm using a nice modern-looking template for the site as a whole but the DT Register Event Category list just looks like the basic DT Register Event Category list.

Is there a way I can make the site-wide theme apply to the Category list?

I see there's something new called "LESS" that I don't understand. I used to kind of understand CSS when we were on Joomla 2.5

The old version of the site still exists and we had some nice styling done to our category list there. Is there a way to copy over the old css to the new Joomla 3 installation? Would it still work? If so, does anyone know where I would find it and where I would need to paste it?

Thanks

Paul :P

Any CSS changes you would've done to DT Register would be in this file:

/components/com_dtregister/assets/css/main.css

You could take that file and use it on the J3 site, yes. Should be fine. I don't know though if you made any other changes to any PHP files.

Make sure DT Register configuration is set (on first tab) to style the form by your template styling... as opposed to DT Register Script. That will apply more to the registration forms... but the list views (whether category or all events... doesn't matter) go by the above CSS file and config options set in DT Register on the event list tab.

Thanks. I'm kinda getting there. Trying to use Firebug on Firefox and devtools on Chrome but usual situation: I'm trying to do this fast and I could really do with some time to properly learn how to use them so in the meantime it's a bit confusing.

Anyway - have got it to an acceptable place for now

Thanks!
