We have set up Duplicate Registration Prevention and profile sync with Community Builder on the email field. Although they shortly see a message "You have already registered for this event", the user can still click on the "Next step" button and proceed to register for the event twice.

It should not be possible to proceed when the user has already registered. Additionally, it would be nice to see only a message (if possible with a link to their registration details) instead of the entire form when trying to register twice for the same event when already logged in.

I still have this problem and am tired of crediting back duplicate registration payment for people that pay a second time.

I am having this same issue in 3.1.9 on joommla 3.6 so something isn't fixed in this version. Any suggestions?
