I updated joomla my template and DT Register plugins and I continue to get an error online. It goes away when the user logs in ( look in the red banner above the menu.
and btw I needed to open and save all the events and rename articles when I went from 3.0.9a to 3.1.4 otherwise the event did not show up in the "list of events"
To stop errors from showing up....................
I opened the file that was listed in the error message just to have a look and it says the plugin is version 1.9 for Joomla 2.5 in the comments section. I hacked the file by adding a line after <?php

error_reporting(0);
total hack, but it worked, I think.
Please advise. I would like to fix this rather than cover it up
I note that my site has a content restriction component "Emerald9" MintJoomla product.
joomla 3.36
php 5.5.21
joomlashack template onyx
firefox Ie Google

Which plugin did you modify? You didn't actually say. :)

Besides updating the component, you need to have updated all modules and plugins.

I edited components/com_dtregister/views/user/templ/edit.php

I now find that the registered members images and names are not linkable to their profiles. when you now click on them it goes to a groups page in jomsocial. I just upgraded joomla and updated your component.

I did update the plugins and will try to uninstall and do them again. In the folder for 3.0 there are no modules to update there are two jomsocial plugins activities 1.6 and records 1.9

update....
I reinstalled the two plugins and no change. weird thing is the url of an avatar looks like this
www.rainbowrv.com/index.php/chapter-club...5319-menard3/profile
when it should be this
www.rainbowrv.com/index.php/profile101/15319-menard3

Thanks
