TOPIC: Authorize.net SIM emulation

Would it be possible to adapt the Authorize.net SIM integration to allow the post url to be changed so that it could point to another gateway that uses Authorize.net SIM emulation ?

We have a client of DT Register who is looking to use our Gateway and this would be the simplest way of creating the integration for using our hosted PayPage.

I did send this request on a contact form but it looked to have timed out.

If you have a payment gateway that supports Authorize.net emulation, then you can modify these files:

/components/com_dtregister/lib/payment/authorizenet.php
/components/com_dtregister/lib/payment/authorizenet_sim.php

Locate the couple of lines that contain the URL for hitting Authorize.net, and change it to whatever your gateway specifies. Your gateway instructions should tell you exactly what to look for. Just change in these two files and you'll be set.

When selecting your payment method on an order you select the method via radial option, is there anyway we can change the labels for these options.

For example the Authorize.net payment method has the label:

Credit Card Authorize.net

Where would we change this label so that the customer would only see the payment option as "Credit Card"?

Of course... you can change this in the language file:

/language/en-GB/en-GB.com_dtregister.ini

If you want to change how it displays in the backend admin side, also change it in the admin language file:

/administrator/language/en-GB/en-GB.com_dtregister.ini
