Hi, I am using J3.4.3 and just loaded the latest patch for DTRegister 3.1.1b. I had problems with the save function as described elsewhere on the forum but this is now OK.
My issue is nothing happens when hitting the SEND EMAIL button when trying to use the Email Registrants function. I have configured the email settings OK in the Configuration section.

Any ideas how to fix this?

In the same boat JRoss. I have the newest 3.11b, and can't email registrants.

Also can't seem to get cron job to run with the reminder emails.

I have been getting "SMTP Error: The following recipients failed:" for registration emails since the last update to 3.1.1 from the previous version. I haven't found a fix yet.

This issue has been fixed in the newly available version 3.1.2. You can download it now!

I re-downloaded 3.1.2 and installed, yet I am still getting this error on some users registrations. Not all of them give the error, but most do.

@shardison - your issue is actually NOT the same as what this thread was posted about. This thread is about the Email Registrants mass email feature... not emails that go out after a registration. Nothing has changed in how DT Register handles emails. The issue with this thread was due to the toolbar buttons not working to allow it to be utilized. Email itself is just fine.

If you have some emails failing, it's an issue with your DT Register setup and/or your Joomla mail server configuration.

In the DT Reg configuration, on the Emails tab, make sure "From Name" and "From Email" are set. Then make sure "Send Admin Email FROM Registrant" is set to NO. Sounds like your mail server wouldn't like the option set to YES, which some mail servers do not cooperate with.

Then within each event, go to the Email tab, and set "Send Emails related to this event FROM" also to NO. Like the other setting, some mail servers are very picky at how an email can be sent. If these changes do not help, then submit a ticket and we'll check things from there.
