I have an event that only has 100 seats and the group registration does not appear to be enough since they want to allow the user to be able to register up to 20 additional users and they want the names for all of them. I dont know if there is a way using the conditional fields to setup adding more people can be used to count against the seats available? Is this possible or any ideas how to set this up to work?

I set this up to work with the group registration and it works to the point that I make the purchase and the first registration vanishes and all that gets recorded or paid for are the ones that was added to the group.

I may not have this setup right but the one video on this says there will be another video explaining this but it does not exist. Is there any written documentation on DT Register or are the videos the only support we get?

Hello! Which version of DT Register are you using?

There are two types of group registration... simple and detailed. In this case, you'd need detailed so you can gather info for each group member. The record will be created with the "billing info", which is the final step of the registration. Then to the right (in the records view), there is a link to click and see all of the group members and their details. It can all be found in the CSV export also.

Within the event setup, on the fields tab, you also set each field's usage within a group registration... to show for each member, the billing info (main contact), or both.

Make sure you have the very latest DT Register package in place... which would also include a plugin DT Cache.

Thanks, I am using version 3.1.1a and I setup everything as you instructed. All seems to work OK but I made a test registration and added two other people to my group only they are registered and paid for the event. Is there some setting to ensure that the person filling out the registration is also paid and part of the group?

I stand corrected, the user that fills out the registration is in fact shown. Looking at the records I see the person that registered and the two people in her party. However only the two people in the group actually got a charge for the event.
