Hi, as none of us with 1064 SQL error problems upon registration seem to get any help from DTH Development (I have had a ticket in for weeks now and asked here in the forum many times, my business is down because of the bug), I would be happy if others of you could share some information about the error in your systems, what possible triggers you have found and if anyone has perhaps found some kind of soultion.
- For me the error shows up upon registration on the form page in TRANSLATED languages only so far, that is, not in the site default language. So the same event gives an 1064 error in a translated language, but not when a user is registering in the native site language. I am using falang and the content element file for falang to translate dt register dynamic strings
- There are hours and even days I think when the error does not show up, and then days and weeks when it always shows up
- The error shows up in both DT Register 3.0, 3.1 and 3.1.1a
- Deleting an event, and then setting it up can, but does not always, help for a while, but the error sometimes shows up after a new event has been there for some time.
- Error message attached as screenshot
I get no answer or help from DT Register on the issue, has anyone heard from them at all / know that they would be working on it? I have posted a new ticket asking if they remember the old ones (which they most often do not do), but no answers on that either. I bought a new license for DT Register when the old one stopped working in order to install the latest version of DT Register, this did not help. A big part of my business has thus been down for four weeks now because DTH does not react to bugs in their software and never quite have in my years with DTH Dev, this as a warning to anyone considering DT Register in front of another event registration script.
