We closed down one of our domains and parked as a subdomain on our main site. I took a full copy of the old site before closing it down thinking I still could access the files. Now I want the programing I did for one of the events and now have no idea how to access the information- don't want to have to go through all the heart ache of getting the setup for the event right again from scratch. Is there any way I can export the event into our current site or at least see the data so I can copy the programming.
Event in 6 weeks and we want to open the online entries next weekend...HELP!!!!!
What you should do is uninstall DT Register on the new copy site and drop all DT Register database tables from that database. Then export all "_dtregister" tables from the old site database. Then import those tables into the new copied site. You may need to change the table prefix if it is different.
Then you can install DT Register on the new site and you'll have all of your old data to work with. You can't just get some data and mix it with other existing data. That would never work. You either do a fresh start or a full copy of existing data.

How do we retrieve event files from copied site files

Can I set this up as a local copy on my PC? Alternatively is there someone that could program the event for me on a budget as I may have done some of the programming the long way round on the old site?
