We have an event that was set up as public and no prerequisites. Now DT Register is insisting that both are necessary.

I've tried to change it. It is set to public in the backend, but "Root" is selected in prerequisites and can't be unselected.

How can this be fixed quickly?

This is a setup issue only... fully described here:

www.dthdevelopment.com/index.php?option=...&id=15067&Itemid=141

Regarding the prerequisite selection (which could cause this), you can de-select any option using CTRL-Click (or Command-Click on a Mac). Thanks.

I was under that impression, but it won't allow me to do so.

There's nothing different about the handling of this in DT Register. It is a multi-select form field. However you can select and de-select items on your computer for any other form, the same action will work within DT Register. If it's not working for you, you simply are not using the right key combination.
