TOPIC: final next step not working

Everything works fine in the registration form until I get to the final next step button. The button will not advance to the final screen before payment. It worked before. I had a joomla 2.5 site in which I had to wipe because of a hack. This a totally new 3.3 site I i believe I have all the settings the same. I do notice on the checkout screen I get the blue checks on all the fields except the email field. The confirm email has on but the the email.

Any thoughts would be great. I am trying to get this back up and running for the next event.

Edit: If I set the joomla auto creation to no and set the auto assign to public and log out it works.
