TOPIC: You are not authorized to access this function

I have made sure the permissions were set correctly and the Super User was only assigned to one group. I have even added the user in the permissions area. I am still getting the message "You are not authorized to access this function" when trying to access the Payment Option name or edit locations.

I have submitted a support ticket, but as my other Open ticket has been waiting for a response since July, I am desperate for help.

I wouldn't think that fixing a permission would be so difficult they would risk the bad PR.

I ran into this problem today when installing DTRegister on a Joomla 2.5.27 site. I use DTRegister on a dozen sites and this is only the second time I've hit the problem. But I discovered a workaround.

1) Log into the Joomla admin as a Super User.
2) Go into DT Register permissions and add yourself as a new user.
3) Give the new user you've added permission to change the Pay Options & SAVE.
4) Open the Pay Options and select yourself as the owner of the default Pay Options & SAVE.
5) Go back into Permissions and delete the new user you created. Make sure that Super Users are given permission to change the Pay Options. SAVE.
6) You should now be able to enter the Pay Options as a Super User.

Gary! You are my new best friend!!! That worked. I am now able to access the locations as well, by opening each one and designating the user. How simple was that?!?!?
