Hello,

We have been using your program for years and it has been very successful. Unfortunately, Joomla 1.5 is very outdated and we decided to move to Joomla 3.0. The issue is that we currently have an event open for registration on the 1,5 site and we need to move it and all of its associated data to the new version(registrants, fields, etc.) What is the best way of accomplishing this feat?

The current package has step-by-step instructions for migrating your data from 1.5 to 3.x. You'll of course update to the latest version in 1.5 if you haven't already before you migrate anything. Thanks.

On a similar note:

I am following these instructions, too.

My issue NOW is that when I re-install DTReg on the new site, I see that all the component is functioning on the frontend, and I see DT Register on the backend when I navigate to 'Extensions- Extensions Manager - Manage'. However, I cannot access the DT Register Control panel. It is no where to be found. It should be under 'Componenents - DT Register', but it is not.

I ran this same test once before and had the same problem. I went to bed, and in the morning, the backend path 'Components - DT Register' was there. Unfortunately, when we go live, I will not have the luxury of waiting a night to configure DT Reg.

I have cleared all cache, removed all cookies/history. I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling.

Any ideas what the problem could be? I have been in dialogue with our host provider for insight, as well. No luck, thus far.

Laura, your issue has nothing to do with this thread. Next time please start a new one or search for a related one.

Please see this forum post:

After uninstalling, manually delete the items from the database mentioned in this thread. It should do the trick. If not initially, reinstall a second time the normal way.
