I recently purchased the latest version of DT Register. I'm running it on Joomla 3.2.3. My website is www.FishersMusic.com . Under the Signup menu I have a couple events. I'm focused on the second event ("Showcase" event). How it used to work in version 2.5 is when a student checks the "second performance" checkbox three new fields appear. One of them is a textarea box where they students enter their song titles. For some reason in this newest version the textarea field type will not display. I can get other field types to display, but no text area.

Is this expected behavior or could it be a bug?

I've modified my form to simply list all fields all the time, but I prefer to simplify the form with conditional fields.

Thanks!

I just did a test on our site and textarea worked fine as conditional. The type of field has no difference in how the conditional fields work. In the event, go to the fields tab... click the new toggle link to show conditional fields. Make sure your textarea field is enabled for the event then re-save.

Fist, I never noticed that toggle link until you pointed it out, but I had been looking for something just like that so I could see the conditional fields.

Second, I flipped the fields back to conditional, toggled them on, and every one of them were enabled properly -- including the textarea fields. I tested the site again and now it's working.

Strange. All I did was toggled all the fields from conditional to static and back to conditional and the textarea fields work.

Thanks for the help and tip!
