We want to auto-populate some of the fields in our forms. Our forms have about 300 fields.
I can't seem to get the data to go from DT into Commuity Builder. Everything that I've read on the forum has the data coming from CB to DT, not DT to DB and back to DT.

We have set it up so that they have to set up an account, which is just email and passwords. We then wanted the registrants to go to the form, fill in all the details and have DT put the data into CB. Then when a registrant comes to register for another event, they log in, select the event and the data has come over from CB.

We have linked the fields in the profile sync. If we add the fields to the initial account set up form then the details are in CB, but we didn't want to do that. Have I missed a step, or is it not possible to send data from DT to CB. Appreciate your help.

The sync with DT and CB is MOSTLY one-directional. It is for DT to pull data FROM the profile into a registration form. When someone submits a DT registration form, it will NOT update their CB profile. That functionality is not there.

HOWEVER... when you use the auto-user creation feature (set per event)... when a public user creates their username/password during the registration, that submission will not only create a new Joomla user account, but it WILL also create the profile (with all synced data) in CB. That is the only time DT will send data TO the CB profile. From that point, it is only one direction.
