TOPIC: Joomla 2.5.x to Joomla 3.2.x - Migrate or Update?

I've still got over a dozen Joomla 1.5 sites left to upgrade to 3.2, and I've successfully completed four of them.

But I also have four Joomla 2.5.x sites to update, which is a lot simpler - I think.

In the ReadMe's for DT Register, I could not find an specific info on 2.5.x to 3.2.x - I found 1.5.x to 2.5/3.x, but not 2.5 to 3.2.

I assume that it's simple enough: after cleaning up all the other extensions and the template, update Joomla 2.5.17 to Joomla 3.2.1 using the update icon on the Control Panel, then update DT Register, update permissions and Configuration, and it should be okay.

But we all know what happens when we assume...

Therefore, I'm hoping you can assure me that what I describe above will work.

Yes, if you're updating the 2.5 site to 3.2... same Joomla install, same database... then just reinstall DT Register (the 3.x version) after updating Joomla. You'll have to reinstall any of the DT Reg plugins/modules that you use also.
