TOPIC: Notice: Constant DS already defined

i am currently in the middle of upgrading an old joomla site to the latest version. When i went to install dt register it installed succesfully but displayed an error message stating: 'JFolder::create: Path not in open_basedir paths'. It seems to be working fine, but on the DT register control panel menu it displays the message: 'Notice: Constant DS already defined in /var/www/vhosts/test10.dependentmedia.com/httpdocs/administrator/components/com_dtregister/dtregister.php on line 14'. Does anybody know what would be causing this?

First, the error shown during issue is due to a permissions problem. It failed to create the image storage directories used by DT Register. Just manually create these directories inside of the core Joomla /images folder:

/images/dtregister/barcode
/images/dtregister/eventpics
/images/dtregister/locations
/images/dtregister/uploads

The "Constant DS" notice (not an error)... this most likely means you don't actually have the latest build of DT Register. The current version (as of today) is 3.0.6a for Joomla 3.x. Get it from My Orders if you have anything newer than that.
