When registrants registers for a class, some are getting the email confirmation, others are not. Events are private, community builder login required. When registering for the site, they are getting the CB registration email immediately, but when registering for a DT register event, nada.
Most of my web clients are US Government, and I've found that almost every government email address blocks email confirmations, both the registrant and the event email.
This may not be your situation. Still, some companies block all emails based on an originating IP range, or a domain blacklist. When I moved to VPS for hosting, the IPs were in a range that was being blocked by many email spam blocking services. My host gave me contact info for the major services (Microsoft, Google, etc.) and I sent an email asking them to unblock the range. They did so and my clients (those that didn't have other blocks in place) began receiving email confirmations.
