I am running 3.2.1 with 3.0.6a and standard administrator theme.

2 issues the main one is after adding a registation manually all users have disappeared from registration list.

I can export all registrations still and view the registration list in the front end.

2nd issue is that i get
Notice: Constant DS already defined in /home/xxxxxxx/public_html/administrator/components/com_dtregister/dtregister.php on line 14

at the top off all backend pages.

Andy

We answered this in your ticket, but since you double-posted your question, we'll answer here as well. (Next time, please just use one or the other)

The only issue here was the DS notice... which isn't even an error, but we fixed this on your site and will update it to the package.

The records of course did not disappear. This would just be a permissions issue. It is because your super user account is assigned to Super User AND to Registered. This is unnecessary for a Super User... plus it is causing the DT register permissions to not accept you correctly. The records are there, but due to your Registered assignment, it's not giving you access.

Uncheck "Registered" for your user and save. Then logout and login again for the changes to be applied.

There is a issue though, When you manually adding a new user the Super user account is added to registered account!

I have just had it happern to me again.....

When creating a new Joomla super user? That has nothing to do with DT Register. That's Joomla. Just manually fix it.

No, I fixed that.

Log back in and all is fine.

Then I go and manually add a entry, when I click finish. The registered users disappear.

I then go back to "user Accounts" and see that my "super user" account has been added to the "registered" group again.

The setup has been fine it's only the latest release that has caused this issue.

Regards

I see what is happening. It's not a bug... nor does it have anything to do with the latest update. It's a setting.

Whatever event you are testing with... check towards the bottom of the first tab of the event setup as there is an OPTIONAL place to designate a custom user group assignment for anyone that registers for that event. This is already set in the main configuration area... so you only need to select a user group(s) in the event settings IF you need a different user group to be activated for registrants of that event.

What happens when you have a group(s) selected in the event, when either a new user is created during registration OR an already existing users registers for that event, that user account will be assigned to the group enabled in that event.

This has to be how you have it setup... so it's just doing what you set it up to do. :) In that event, you can de-select the "Registered" user group assignment by using CTRL-click (or Command-Click on a Mac).
