Is there a way you can import or add holidays into DT Register without creating an event?

You can create any "event" without having registration. Just set it up like normal. The only required items are the event title, start date/time, end date/time, and admin notification email. THEN, to disable any registration, set the "Registration Open Date" to any date AFTER the event is over. Then it will be listed but not ever link to registration.

Nathan, thank you for getting back with me.

Could she create a spreadsheet of all the holidays for the year and import it through DT Register so it can be done all at once?

Sorry, but there is no import tool like that using a spreadsheet. The only import option is with our ICS Import plugin (optional paid plugin). It allows you to import events that you export from Outlook, iCal or Google Calendar. The Google Cal imports can even be automatic from a cron job for regular importing.

I believe Google Calendar has an option of showing holidays... so this may be a route for you to consider. See more about our plugin here:
