Yes, "Root" still shows. It won't soon. Do NOT select "None". If you do not need a category, select nothing. Use CTRL-Click (or Command-click on a Mac) to de-select anything that you have selected if needed.

I wasn't able to de-select the category (from being None) - but I went ahead and gave all events categories anyway.

The Upcoming Events module is filtering out events and I'm unsure why.

If I take the same event and make it category Other, it shows, if I change the event's category to OtherA it doesn't.

There is no filtering configured in that module.

The only thing I can see is that it seems to be any categories with an Id more than 3 or 4 aren't showing.

Assuming you have the latest build of the component AND the module, they should display the same events... depending on how you have them configured. Feel free to submit a ticket with admin access and we can take a look at your settings. Be sure to note specific events that are not showing in the module that you expect to be there.

You CAN de-select anything from a multi-select box... using the instructions provided. That is not a DT Register functionality, but just standard web form multi-select functionality.

Thanks Nathan, I hadn't updated the module. Done now and everything seems fine.
