TOPIC: Details Button

Hi,

When I use the details link for my events, and link to the articles it is creating a new home page, but not going to the article, which seems really weird.

Not sure if it is because I am on a Windows server. Anyone else having this problem and is there a work around?

This is due to the details page not having an appropriate ItemID. Usually it works fine on its own, but if not, there are things you can do to force a proper ItemID usage.

1) Create a menu item for the article category (usually blog style) for the category containing your event detail articles. This menu item doesn't have to be seen anywhere... just exist. Doing this should help. If not, continue to the next item.

2) Make note of the ID for that menu item, then go into your event and you'll find (below the details article selection) an optional field to enter an ItemID override. Enter the number of your new menu item ID. This is NOT the id of your details article.
