TOPIC: include non registration events in the dt register calendar?

Is it possible to include outside events in the dt calendar
several times a year, we have events with partners who handle the registration. however, we'd like to include these in the upcoming events and would prefer not to have to use a separate calendar
Is theere a way to do this?

Yes, any event can be included without active registration by simply setting the "Registration Open Date" to any date AFTER the event is over. Then the event can be included in list and calendar views, but not have active registration links.

If you have your config set to link titles to a details article, that would still be active so you could direct users to info about the event within a Joomla article... if you wanted to.

I applied this tecnique, but it's still saying "We are no longer accepting registrations for this event. Thank you."

I have confirmed that i have the calendar links using the details article and not the registration page.

southpaw - as stated in the other forum thread you already posted in about this... you didn't follow the directions.

Set the REGISTRATION OPEN DATE.... NOT the CUT-OFF DATE.
