TOPIC: Migrate data and config from old site to new site

I'm looking for some guidance on how best to proceed at this point. Wondering if it is possible to pull my old site data over.

Old site:
J1.5.26 / DTR 2.7.5

New site, all clean installs.
J3.0.2 / DTR 3.0.0 (empty database)

Is it possible for me to update the old site to current version, then copy over the database tables?

looks like I found the answer in the readme file. guess I should have read that all the way through from the start.

Curious at this point if I should uninstall DT 3.0.0 so that I can follow the instructions correctly. If so, what all do I need to correctly get back to a good starting point.

I would suggest that when you uninstall, go through your folder/files in ftp and delete any references to dt register if they exist. Do the same in the database. Just to make sure you're really getting rid of all traces.
