TOPIC: System pulling wrong user information on registratoin

When a user is finished entering in all their personal information and ready to confirm an order, the information that pulls up is wrong. It pulls up other people in the system. So user A will see user B's addresses, emails and birth dates, etc. which is concerning.

Any ideas why or how records would get cross linked like this?

What version are you using? This issue happened within Joomla 3 and DT Register 3.1. The current 3.1.1a package includes changes along with a new plugin that address this issue.

Thanks for the reply. Joomla 2.5.28 DTRegister 2.8.11 (yes, yes, I know upgrade Joomla 3.X with the latest version of DTreg.) Just looking for a known problem that can be fixed quickly and affordably. Upgrading Joomla between versions can be a hassle and an unexpected time and money suck.

You need to do a couple things:

1) Update DT Register to 2.8.14. Your version is much older and not supported.

2) Within Joomla global configuration, disable cache. This is likely your issue, or part of it. Or if you have a cache system within your template... get rid of it... unless you can set it to exclude DT Register.
