Hi DTH, I have a problem which might perhaps not be DT Register specific, but as I cannot seem to find a solution and as it might still be DT Register specific and as it anyhow might interest other DT Register users, I'll post the question here:
In order to create Facebook ads with the aim of getting website conversions (for instance people registering to an event), Facebook demands you to put a convergence pixel script on the page which shows that the ad has had a result. In the case of an event, this would be the thank you-page which pops up after the user has registered.
Now, I am unable to get such a script to "stick" when editing the DT Register configuration messages. I get scripts to stick on articles (by seeing to that script is allowed in the editor and in the joomla permissions settings), but for some reason: inserting html code into the dt register messages, saving, and opening the messages again give html with most of the script removed. I need to insert dt register fields into the text, otherwise I could of course create a redirect url to an article with the script.
Does anyone here have an idea how I could get the convergence script inserted? I am thinking of finding the php file which creates the thank you article, but have not found it yet...and I am sure that there is a much easier solution which I just do not understand?
DT Register uses the WYSIWYG editor so if something needs changed, it's with the editor as DT Reg doesn't strip contents of the messages.
Your best bet is most likely to use the redirect option and create an article that has everything you need... and set the thank you from DT Reg to just redirect to that page.
