Things just got more interesting for me.

I am in development of a J2.5 install for a customer that has two lines of business that are in the same field, but with different niche market segments.

Specifically, the customer is a trainer for medical professionals. He has two segments - Military and Civilian (EMT/Paramedic) which are like oil and water, but need to go into the same salad dressing jar.

We need to figure out a way to configure Joomla and DTR to have two separate 'identities' but use the same components - specifically, how can I use the same Joomla DB and DTR in a way that the customer has to only manage one administrative interface.

Having deployed many Joomla sites (some with DTR), they've all be single domain, so I've never had to do anything like this before.

I hope someone can help.

Thanks in advance!

I'm using a component called "virtual domains"
extensions.joomla.org/extensions/core-en.../multiple-sites/7557

to do that right now.
DT-Register handles it fine.

Last Edit: by jessedw2. Reason: misspelling
