TOPIC: user edit own personal information

i am sure this is somewhere but I can not find.. Is there a way to have a link from the main menu for the user to edit their personal information.

For users to update their login profile data, that is outside of DT Register. But if you are talking about updating data in an event registration record... sure! Create a menu item for DT Register -> User Panel. Set it to appropriate access.

In the User Panel, users can see their registration history, edit records, cancel, make payments, etc. What all shows here is dependent on settings in Configuration on the User Panel tab. Then inside of each event, there is also a User Panel tab where you can enable/disable things like ability to cancel registrations.

In Config on the Emails tab, there are three emails sent to users for editing, canceling or paying for registrations. Make sure you have those setup as desired if you're going to enable any of those features.
