TOPIC: fee order on new event

Is there anyway to set by default, the fee order on new events? I know I can change it after I make the event... but I don't think I should have to change it everytime!?

There is not a default fee ordering setup. The only time you really even need to mess with it is when you are using % calculations. What change is it that you are having to make each time?

Also, you might consider using the event COPY feature when creating new events... so you keep all of the same setup as before, then just change what is different.

In Canada, where I am, people signing up for this particular registration are not subject to tax if they are under 14. So I've made a drop down that asks 'are you under 14' and made it a fee field. I realize that you can also achieve this by using the tax exempt field in the registration, but that too would have to be set each time a new registration is made.

I also know that I can copy events (and use repeating events)... but in this situation a client wants to be able to do it themselves, so I'm trying to simplify things as much as possible so that "creating a new event".. pretty much has everything right as defaults.

I assume that there is a SQL query that asks for the fee fields? if this was ordered by alphabetic or date I could tweak something?
