TOPIC: Conditional Field Takes a Long Time to Display

Hello I am developing a site within my localhost and created almost 65 fields. And 5 of the field is set to a conditional field. My problem is that it took a long time for a 1 conditional field display all its conditions inside. When selecting a conditional field, it has about 6-9 values inside. I believe it loads for about 1seconds min to 5seconds at most..

What possible the problem am i facing? Is there a way to tweak a javascript or something to fasten the conditioning statement? Really need some help about this. Thanks!

I have the same problem, but have not yet found a solution. I have a field that is/is not used, depending on the ticket type registrant selects. Takes several minutes for that field to display when displaying the record.

I am also interested in learning more about potential ways to improve display time. The lag can cause confusion and even data entry errors. For example, it is possible for a "quick entry" user to complete the registration without sighting the conditional fields. Thus this data is missed in the registration. This can happen even if the conditional field is set up for mandatory entry!

Hello. Slow loading conditional fields is NOT a normal thing... but something that we occasionally see on particular sites. It is most likely due to something in the site itself or the host server. Since it's not something we can replicate ourselves, we need to work on this directly on a site/server that is having the problem. If any of you are willing to provide a clone/demo version of your site with admin and FTP access (provided through a ticket, not here of course), we'd be happy to do some troubleshooting and see what we can potentially do to improve this for you and anyone else that would ever run into it.
