We're having a weird problem that cropped up with the installation of the last version of DT Reg. When people register and pay via Paypal, the registration records are only getting created if they click to return to our site from the Paypal Thank You page. I can see that Paypal sent the IPN right away and got a confirmation. If the users click away from the Paypal page, we never get a registration record created. If they wait a while and then click to return to our site, the record is created.
Has anyone else seen this?
Thanks,
Mike Regan
Hello. We just discovered yesterday that the 2.8.9 release contained some test code for another payment gateway that was interfering with PayPal IPN. We have corrected the problem and updated the package to 2.8.9a. You can download it now from My Orders. We apologize for the inconvenience!

Yes, just reinstall the updated package. It will fix the issue... assuming your PayPal account is setup correctly. Also make sure in the PayPal account that:
- IPN is enabled
- Sending of IPN messages is enabled
- Auto-return is OFF
When you click to return to your site from PayPal, IPN is not required and the record will always be created. When you do NOT return to the site after payment or close the browser, IPN is needed to complete it. Thanks! Nathan
