This issue was addressed in the user's ticket, but for others playing along at home... the problem was that he had installed and enabled our two JomSocial plugins, but does not have the JomSocial component.

As stated in our readme file, you can NOT have these plugins enabled on your site if you do not have JomSocial. You will cause errors after registrations are trying to complete.
