I updated to 2.8.8f, using J2.5. Prior to updating, as the superuser, I was able to export CSV from the backend. Now after the update, in the backend, I can only see events that are my own. I double checked the I only have super user permission on my site...check...

Thoughts?

Yeah, just a settings issue. Go to DT Register -> Permissions. Make sure that Super User does NOT have the first box checked which is "Edit Own Items Only". Uncheck that and save. As long as your user is truly only assigned to Super Users, you will be good. If you had to change your user and un-select other groups, you'll have to logout and login again for that to be applied.

Perfect! Prior to the update, I had not "checked" the first box (edit own events) - so that was ok...but I did have myself assigned to super user as well as another user group. I unassigned my group, but nothing happened. Read your response...didn't even consider logging out and logging back in...that did the trick. Thanks !!

That did the trick for me to.

BUT... why can a person not have multiple user roles ?
All other Joomla extensions work fine with that concept...

picht, the permissions structure of DT Register is very involved and was there before Joomla 2.5 permission enhancements. It allows more options than just saying who can access the component type of permissions... so it's different than other extensions in that regard.

However, there should not be a need for a Super User to be assigned to multiple user groups as it would just be redundant. Super Users have access to anything that other groups do. If you really think that you absolutely have to have a particular user assigned to other groups, you can always add that user individually to the permissions matrix in DT Register and their permissions will be applied regardless of what user group(s) they are assigned to.

I prefer to have the Acces levels managed in one place and not having to add persons to different extensions-permissions.

Having the ACL of DTH working different than in Joomla 2.5 is just confusing :(
