TOPIC: PayPal Pro

Hi Guys,

I have a PayPal Pro account. After setting up a PayPal pro payment option in DT register, is there anything else I need on my website to use Paypal pro? ie do I need SSL or anything? Paypal tells me that shopping cart components have paypal pro built in so there is no need for any other integration as the shopping cart takes care of all the payment securely. Is this the case with DT Register?

Hello. You should be ok without getting a SSL certificate for PayPal Pro, as in I don't think they require it. However, we always recommend using a SSL certificate for your domain whenever credit card details are being entered and processed directly on your site. It's really more of a SHOULD rather than a HAVE TO.
