TOPIC: Link to show all events (on given day) in monthly calendar

Apologies if this has already been answered... I tried several searches of the forum but all of the keywords were rejected as too common.

In monthly calendar view, when there are more than 3 daily events, there is a link to "Show more" -- first, is there a way to disable the link and simply show all events for a given day? Secondly, if link cannot be disabled, can the ensuing popup location be changed so that it appears near the day (and not at the top of the calendar). As it is, if the day is near the end of the month, it looks as though nothing happens when one clicks the "Show more" link, since the event display is at the top of calendar and is not visible.
