Cmalley, wondering you would mind to share the fix to this problem after your freelancer resolves it...
let us know... as it's a month since DTH team does nothing for it.
Thanks

I wish I had a list of what he did. It is working though. Took him a while to do it.

I did hear back about my ticket this morning from DTH after the freelancer fixed the issue.

You could zip the DT Register files (administrator/components/dtregister & components/dtregister) and shared with us, you could you ask you freelancer to supply just the DT register php files that he edited...

and what about the DT ticket ? Did they come with a solution ?
Thanks anyway

joomlab - I responded through your ticket and sent you a package to fix the issue.

We are updating the package to include this and some other items. If anyone else needs this category related fix prior to us releasing the update, request it through a ticket. Thanks!

Hi,

My response to the ticket after I told them I had a freelancer fix it was just closing it without further comment.

I am pleased to see more activity from the staff and the arrival of a new person to help with the issues. If I knew they were responding quicker (or at all) to tickets, I may have waited longer for DTH to fix this. My assumption from past tickets and all the comments on this site is that I was to be out of luck for a long time.

Nate is welcome to take a look at my "fixed" code to make sure it will upgrade properly with the next release.

This software keeps my business alive, and I am very happy that the new direction seems positive.

cmalley - the issue was not code... but data not being moved to where it needed to be. Once we update the package again and you update, you'll be fine. I'm sure your freelancer just modified the code to pull the category info from the old location. It's fine for now though. As long as you are working, you're fine to leave it as is. Your next update will sort it out fully though. I do apologize for the delays you've experienced. We are certainly taking measures to change this. Your patience is very much appreciated!
