Okay everyone, the official update including all category-related fixes among some other important items is now available! You can download it now from My Orders. We posted it earlier today, but before announcing it, found a small remaining issue which has been resolved. So if you did download earlier today, please download again. You will need to update the component and the upcoming events module.

This ended up being a pretty hairy issue, but in the end, you do have multi-category support and multi-level (nstead of just 2) now. A full announcement will be coming out shortly, but 2.8.8 is now available. Thanks everyone so much for your patience!
