TOPIC: Wait list won't work due to limits on field

Hi,
I have an event that is full and the wait list sign up won't work because there is an option field with limits and so the person signing up cannot select one of the options so cannot process the wait list registration. I need to retain the limits on those options for the main booking. How can I make it so I can still get wait list registrations? I have explained more on this below:

Team member - Regular (limited to 20)
Team member - Alternate (limited to 05)
So, all 25 spots are full (20 regulars and 5 alts) so it goes to wait list. But, both Regular and Alternate are greyed out and cannot be selected because the limit has been reached for each with the real registrations. So, a wait list registration won't process because the team member field is required but they cannot select an option. I cannot increase the limit on either field because the event cannot accept more than 20 regulars or 5 alternates.

I've the same problem. I've updated from an earlier version of DT-Register to 2.8.5 J25. In the earlier Version all works fine. My event is full. The waiting list is enabled. When I want to register a single person it still works fine. When I want to register a group, on the first member site there is no forward-button - only a back-button. In the Backend the same problem. Both, single or group, is not allowed. "This event is full so you can not register anyone else."
Can anybody help?

I have exact the same problem. I am running version 2.8.2b. It worked well in version 2.7. I want to upgrade to 2.8.5 but if this problem still exists in that version, I do not want to buy a new subscription. Please fix this problem first asap.

So has there been a resolution? I'm having this issue too, now.
