TOPIC: email field pre populates

Hi,
I am using ARRA import/export to get our 3000+ users into Joomla. ARRA requires an email address to be provided in the CSV file that is uploaded. My issue is that when a user goes to the registration page, DT register is pre populating the email address from the user. (The user is logging into the site, before they can see the calendar) The problem is that this email address is for the student, and not the parent. Is there a way I can disable the email field from pre populating?? I have Joomla 2.5 and DT register 2.8.2
