In the video tutorials it talks about Jevents being required, but in the documentation it is not presented that way.
Is there something I can read to clarify?
Thanks

Hi - I'm a current DT Reg user - I can confirm it no longer needs JEvents at all.... That was the case many months (years?!) ago, but for a long time now it's been capable of running perfectly well without JEvents.

Thanks Andy...
I guess DT needs to review their video tutorials and make sure they are still relevant...
Especially for someone new to their paradigm, diligently doing their homework before seeking support! :)

Be sure you are watching the videos found on YouTube... linked from the backend DT Register Control Panel. There are some very old videos in the support area on this site, but are labeled accordingly. None of the more current videos (version 2.7 and later) will show JEvents as being required. It hasn't been required now for 2 years :)
